Meet our teachers
Christopher Tevrén
Hej! Mitt namn är Christopher. I have been teaching at the Swedish School in Portland since 2017.
In Villa Villekulla, the children reads and discuss books together as a group, learn table manners during snack time and have one on one time with me or my assistant during activities.
Besides teaching at SSiP I attend at Portland State University as a Computer Science major while working part-time.
Lana Dalshad Lister
Lana Dalshad Lister is teaching group 1 targeting children ages six to nine, which is our intermediate level. Hej, my name is Lana and I am a teacher at the Swedish School of Portland. I have a degree in education and I’m fluent in four languages. I am from Linköping, Sweden and have been living in the Portland area since 2019. I love being a teacher and spending my time hiking the very scenic Pacific Northwest.
Victoria Owenius
My name is Victoria Owenius and this is my fifth year as a teacher at the Swedish School of Portland. I am originally from Östhammar, Sweden, but I have lived in Portland since 2001. I have a master’s degree in Education and I am currently working as an English teacher at Clackamas High School.
